Uses

Limovan 7.5mg is used as a short term treatment for insomnia and sleeping disorders where falling asleep or interruptions in sleep can cause stress and anxiety. It is not recommended for long term use as dependence, tolerance and addiction can occur.  It is also known more commonly as Zopiclone, Zopicon and many other names depending where you live.

Dosage

Take limovan as instructed by your doctor. Do not take more or more often than recommended by your doctor and you should make sure you have enough time to get a full nights sleep (7-8 hours) as if you wake before this you may experience memory problems, because the limovan has not had time to wear off.

Side Effects

The most common side effect of limovan sleeping pills is a bitter, metallic taste which is doesn’t usually last long but can remain for a few hours in some cases.  You may experience palpitations in the day following withdrawal, after prolonged periods of use. Common side effects include:

• Taste disturbances including a slight, bitter metallic taste or dry mouth
• Dizziness, headaches, and physical fatigue
• Double or impaired vision
• Drowsiness
• Disruption of REM sleep
• Memory loss
• Unexpected mood changes have been noted in some people, which if experienced you should immediately stop taking limovan and consult your doctor.

Precautions

You should not drink alchol with limovan, as it can enhance the effects of each other.  Patients with liver disease should not use it. Limovan should never be mixed with other medications without consulting your doctor first.
